Recent Trades Widget
The Recent Trades widget shows a real-time feed of executed trades on the market.
Features
- Live Trade Feed - Real-time trade executions
- Buyer/Seller Indicator - Color-coded trade direction
- Trade Details - Price, quantity, time
- High-Frequency Updates - Streaming via WebSocket
Trade Information
Each trade row displays:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Price | Execution price (green buy / red sell) |
| Qty | Trade quantity |
| Time | Execution timestamp |
The feed shows the most recent 50 trades for the active symbol; the newest row flashes as it arrives, and a footer shows the symbol and current count.
Color Coding
Trades are color-coded by aggressor:
- Green - Buy (taker bought from maker)
- Red - Sell (taker sold to maker)
This indicates market pressure:
- Many green trades = buying pressure
- Many red trades = selling pressure
Reading the Trade Feed
Volume Analysis
- Watch for large trades (whale activity)
- Clusters of trades may indicate momentum
Price Action
- Rapid price changes with high volume = strong move
- Price changes with low volume = weak move
Trade Frequency
- High frequency = active market
- Low frequency = quiet market
Symbol Selection
The trades shown correspond to the selected symbol. Change the symbol to see trades for a different pair.
Scrolling Behavior
- New trades appear at the top
- Older trades scroll down
- List maintains a maximum number of visible trades
Large trades appearing suddenly may indicate institutional activity or significant market moves.
