Twitter / X Coverage

CubeTerminal surfaces crypto Twitter/X posts in the news feed — but not through a Twitter API key you configure yourself.

There is no standalone Twitter source to connect. Tweets arrive embedded inside Bark, TreeNews, and Synoptic, which already do the account curation and API work upstream. Enable one of those feeds to get Twitter coverage.

Where Tweets Come From

  • Bark — tweets from tracked crypto accounts arrive as TWEET events with full text, author, and media
  • TreeNews (Main) — includes Twitter alongside blogs and Telegram
  • Synoptic — the shared server stream carries curated social posts

You don't manage a follow list inside CubeTerminal for these — the source provider decides which accounts are tracked. To broaden or narrow coverage, adjust which feeds you enable and use keyword filters.

How Tweet Cards Look

Tweet items in the News Feed widget display:

  • Author — handle and avatar, clickable
  • Content — tweet text (auto-translated when non-Latin)
  • Media — images and video inline, click to expand
  • Tickers — symbols detected in the text, clickable to trade
  • Timestamp — post time

Replies and quote-tweets carry their referenced context where the source provides it.

Focusing the Signal

Twitter is high-volume. To keep it useful:

  • Set keyword highlights for the symbols and terms you trade
  • Use the feed's filters to include or exclude source types
  • Combine with the quick-fire trade buttons to act on a headline in one click

Want a Specific Account?

If you rely on an account that isn't covered, message @TerminalCube (opens in a new tab) on X — or pipe a compatible JSON WebSocket in via a Custom source (Settings → News Sources → Add New Source → Custom WebSocket).
