News Feed Widget
The News Feed aggregates real-time headlines from 10+ sources and turns them into trades — sub-second paint, quick-fire order buttons, keyboard news-fire, auto-translate, voiceover, and news-attributed PnL.

News Sources
Sources are configured in global Settings (bark, treenews, twitter, telegram, on-chain wallets, synoptic, pump.fun, custom, and others) and filtered per widget. Common sources:

Without a personal Bark key you're on the free community feed — headlines arrive with a 5-second server-side delay (shown as a "5s delay" chip). A Bark subscription removes the delay.
Top Bar
- Highlights — manage keywords to highlight on matching cards
- Filters — source, card-type, and regex filters (badge shows the active count)
- Settings — widget appearance and behavior (below)
- Live clock — local wall clock with milliseconds, a headline-to-eyeball timing reference
- EN — auto-translate toggle
- B — bionic-reading toggle

Filters
- Sources — toggle each source on/off; counts shown per source
- Card types — Buy, Sell, Aggregated Buy, Tweet, News, Transfer, Perp, Listing, Deploy
- Regex — filter by pattern with optional case sensitivity; invalid patterns show an error
Settings
- Font size — Small, Medium, Large
- Color theme — Default, Dark, Midnight, Forest, Ocean
- Display — auto-return to top after inactivity (with delay), exact timestamps, sentiment border, keyword highlight color
- Voiceover (TTS) — read headlines aloud; "highlights only" or "every headline"; speech rate
- Trade buttons — show Long/Short, Quick Buy, external Trade links, and Polymarket matches (with match sensitivity)
- Desktop overlay — surface news as a desktop notification (all vs highlights, only-when-hidden, show media)
- Keyword → ticker mappings — map a keyword or handle to a ticker
News Cards
Each card shows the source badge, author/handle (clickable), content with highlighted keywords, timestamp, and any media (images/video). Depending on what's detected:
Tickers
Detected tickers render as chips. Click one to switch the chart to that symbol (auto-selects the right exchange, or on-chain mode for DEX tokens).
Quick-Fire Trading
When trade buttons are enabled and a card has an exchange-tradeable ticker, Long / Short buttons appear. Clicking one places a market order at your preset size, routes the chart to that symbol at 5m, and records the fire for news-attributed PnL.
Quick Buy (Swap)
For on-chain tokens (a detected or OCR-extracted contract address), quick-buy buttons swap preset native amounts via your terminal wallet (Jupiter on Solana, 0x on EVM).
Contract Address
When a card carries a contract address:
- Copy — copy the full address
- Chart icon — click to open the token in the chart's Dex mode; hover to preview a mini-chart (50 candles; timeframe from Swap settings)
News-Attributed PnL
If you fired a trade from a card, a PnL chip shows the realized profit/loss attributed to that headline once the position closes.
Sentiment
Optionally, a green/red left border marks bullish/bearish sentiment (enable in Settings).
Polymarket Matches
Related prediction markets can surface as chips under a card; click to open the market.
Keyboard News-Fire
With the feed focused:

B / S fire instantly at your News Fire profile size/leverage — enable it first in Settings → Risk.
Auto-Translate
On by default. Non-English headlines are translated in place; toggle with the EN button. Original text is preserved.
OCR Contract-Address Extraction
Cards with images but no contract address are scanned (OCR) for a Solana/EVM address. A found address is attached to the card and resolved to token info, unlocking the copy/chart/quick-buy affordances. OCR is skipped for major-perp headlines to avoid pulling wallet addresses from exchange screenshots.
Refresh
- Pull-to-refresh — pull down at the top to resync sources
- Auto-return to top — after inactivity the feed scrolls back to the newest card (configurable)

The News Feed may require connecting through a partner referral link. If locked, an Unlock News Feed prompt explains what's needed.
