Trading Overview

CubeTerminal is a keyboard-fast front-end for trading perpetual futures across multiple venues. Orders are signed and sent from your browser — there is no signup and no custodial account.

Supported Venues

CubeTerminal trades perps on:

  • Hyperliquid — primary perps venue; an agent wallet signs orders locally, so there's no wallet popup per order
  • Bybit — v5 USDT-M perps and dated futures
  • Binance — USD-M futures
  • Bitget — USDT-M perps
  • Phoenix — on-chain perps

Arcus (a perp DEX) is integrated and shipping soon. See Exchanges for per-venue setup.

Trading Features

  • Order types — Limit, Market, Stop Loss, Take Profit, plus TWAP, Scale, and Chase
  • Attached TP/SL — set take-profit and stop-loss levels on entry
  • Leverage — adjustable up to each symbol's exchange maximum, with optional auto-leverage
  • Position management — real-time PnL, liquidation price, and partial/quick close
  • Risk controls — max notional, fat-finger protection, daily loss limit, max positions, max leverage

Getting Started

1. Connect an exchange

Add your API credentials in the Accounts widget or Settings → Exchanges. Keys are stored locally on your device.

Use API keys with trading permissions only. Enable IP whitelisting where your exchange supports it.

2. Select a symbol

3. Place an order

  1. Open the Trade Entry widget
  2. Pick an order mode (Limit, Market, …)
  3. Enter price (for limit) and size — size can be in USD or the base asset
  4. Click Buy / Long or Sell / Short (or press Enter)

Trading Workflow

  1. Analysis — charts, news, and market data
  2. Planning — entry, target, and stop levels
  3. Execution — place orders from Trade Entry
  4. Management — monitor Positions and Orders, adjust as needed
  5. Exit — close at target or stop, or use quick-close

Key Concepts

Long vs Short

  • Long (Buy) — profit when price rises
  • Short (Sell) — profit when price falls

Leverage

Leverage amplifies both gains and losses; higher leverage means a closer liquidation price. See Leverage & Margin.

Fees

Hyperliquid trades route through CubeTerminal's builder-fee program (referred users get permanent Tier-1 pricing). Full numbers are on the Fees page.
